Accessories for Steeldeck and Metrodeck

Theres a wide range of items available to help you to help your decks back to full fitness:

  • Birch ply - quality 18mm birch from managed forests
  • Poplar ply - amazingly light
  • Acoustic felt - lose those drumming sounds and any chance of a rattle
  • PVA - for gluing the felt to the ply
  • Deck screws - self-drilling, self-tapping screws to secure the ply to the frame
  • Plastic feet - for legs and handrails
  • Legs - galvanised steel or alloy tube cut to length
  • Velcro straps - available in regular or large size
  • Steel connectors - for those occasions when the Velcros need supplementing
  • Nuts and bolts - for connecting Steeldecks together or securing the legs in the cornerposts
  • Ratchet spanner - aka the podger - for both the Steeldeck nuts and bolts
  • Handwheels - when you don't want to have to use a spanner
  • Castor - for mobile stacking
  • Ratchet strap - to make the stack safe
