Over a decade’s service for Durham Council – Maltbury Steeldeck

Over ten years ago, John Thurlbeck of Durham County Council invested in a substantial package of Maltbury’s premier system - Steeldeck.  Since then John has used the equipment hundreds of times for a huge variety of events. From speech platforms for Tony Blair to heavy rock gigs in the park, John has never been disappointed with Maltbury Steeldeck’s performance.

John chose Steeldeck because of its legendary durability, safe in the knowledge that these sturdy decks have been supporting performers and production teams for a very long time! Thrilled with the modular design and the flexibility this brings, John has been able to take on many more projects than he first thought - ‘It has literally been used for everything from rock to classics to corporate sets and all points in between!’

John was keen to show us all the shows he had organised but unfortunately we don’t have room for the photos!  In addition to the concert and Tony Blair event his Steeldeck staging was also used to construct the VIP platform for a snooker match between Steven Hendry and Ronnie O’Sullivan .  We can’t wait to hear what’s next!
