Hari Atwal, Training Centre Manager at the West Midlands Fire Service emailed Maltbury Staging just before Christmas. Hari needed a lightweight but durable, portable stage with a canopy and step. It had to hold 5 people with seats and was to be mainly used outdoors. Oh, and they had a limited budget!
Moments later she received a detailed quote from a member of Maltbury's Sales Team. Hari was advised that Steeldeck Ultra with a phenolic coated finish would be ideal for her requirements. The aluminium frame was chosen to keep the weight to a minimum but the deep truss maintains a very impressive loading. And it looks great.
The addition of the weatherproof phenolic plywood created the perfect solution for a portable outdoor platform. It’s also non-slip and will last them a very long time! A customised canopy with WMFS logo finished the package perfectly and a trolley was made to transport everything efficiently.
A mixture of bespoke work and standard equipment created a solid package with a personalised touch. Not to mention great value for their strict budget!
