Maltbury Staging supply portable backdrops for weddings, parties and theatre stages at competitive prices.Our new Backdrape systems are versatile curtain and aluminum support systems (a.k.a. Pipe and Drape Systems or Backdrops) which will transform your performance or event space.
Maltbury offer two different types of Backdrape systems - PERFORMANCE and EVENT.
Both the Performance and Event systems include:
- Aluminium Uprights on steel bases.
- Extendable Aluminium Cross-bars which simply hook onto the uprights.
- Drapes which thread smoothly onto the cross-bars.
- Storage Bags are available to keep the whole package safe and portable.
Event Backdrape
The Eve
nt Backdrape system has been specifically designed to transform a simple venue into a sophisticated and beautiful area on a budget.
The Event Backdrape comes with shimmering ivory drapes which make this an ideal system for Wedding Backdrops, Party Backdrops and other special event backdrops.
The Event Backdrape can stand at either 6ft tall or an extension can be added to make it reach 10ft. The crossbars are telescopic and have an adjustable length of 6ft-10ft. The versatile height and length of the Event Backdrape means we can tailor a package flexible enough to meet precise requirements in a variety of spaces. The Event Backdrape System can be easily set up without any tools and offers you a great budget backdrop for weddings and special events.
Performance Backdrape
Instead of using an extension pole the Performance Backdrape uses telescopic aluminium uprights to create a strong and robust theatre backdrop that can reach any height between 7ft and 12ft without additional parts. By having telescopic uprights and steel baseplates the Performance Backdrape can safely support thick black wool serge drapes. The Performance Backdrape is perfect for transforming any awkward or empty performance space into a professional and focused theatre.
With our portable Performance Backdrape you can construct a line of stage curtains to suit the height and length of your performance needs. Telescopic crossbars are adjustable between 6ft and 10ft with smaller crossbars available on request.
